Rhythms by Rita pianist Rita Richardson began playing piano at an early age
and over the years has developed a unique performance style.  She plays
several types of music, including gospel, background dinner music, classical, holiday-themed and original compositions. Rita is available to provide piano music at banquets, receptions, open houses, fundraisers and special church, community and holiday events. 

Rita is an ordained minister, a long-time Arkansas radio news broadcaster and currently a freelance journalist and Bureau Chief for Mobile News. She completed several music courses in high school and in college.  Rita received a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas.  She has also completed several graduate-level courses in journalism from Arkansas Tech and in mass communications from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  Although Rita has been a successful  journalist for many years, she still has a great love for music and looks forward to each opportunity to provide music for special events throughout the year.
